I am sure you have friends who ask you for your advice, and you spend countless hours listening to them. They ask, and you spill out your thoughts. A week later, they say the same thing again. Are they trying to change? Maybe they like to suck off all the energy out of you. Are they listening? Maybe yes they are. Maybe they are afraid of change? Do they have enough confidence in themselves to make that change? Yes, it can be scary, and maybe you or your friend are in the safe place. Which reminds me of being in front of a warm fire and don’t want to move.
As December days are going shorter, and we think of what we have done this year? So what have we done? Was there anything special that you are proud of? Did you have any regrets for 2021? Did you take your friends advice? Did you take a risk in something you were dying to do? I would probably say 50% of you said “No or Nope”…
This is something that is hard to hear, and yes, we get tired. We think we have tried and tried with everything we have gotten. We just get burnt out, and when things don’t go our way, we are always looking for something to help us. Sometimes it can be tough. Some gave me great advice, just pick yourself up and learn why it didn’t go your way. Was there something you needed to work on more? Yes, more questions to answer. I know it might get tiring, but I swear there is a reason for this. Even though you are so tired of it. I will come into play, maybe not just at the moment.
When you feel a bit under the weather, don’t be super sick, but when your brain or head is completely exhausted from everything. One trick I like to do is pick a few words that you stick to throughout your life. This will help remind you why and how you want to move on. Sometimes, we want to move fast, but that does not happen as we wish. You can always return to those words and reframe them if you like. One thing about writing and your thoughts is they can always change.
Believe accessibility is everything!
