👋🏻
Today turned out to be a great day, since I spent it with my family, engaging in various sporting events. I took the opportunity to observe my surroundings and ponder my tween years during these moments. Did I have the typical tween know-it-all attitude back then? I questioned. Reflecting on these memories made me realize that my perspective on past events had changed over time. I decided to call my mom to confirm the accuracy of my recollections. Interestingly, her version of the events was somewhat different from how I remembered them.
She told me that when I was young, I often thought I knew everything and got in over my head. I didn’t understand why she said no to some things I wanted to do. Now that I’m an adult, I understand why my parents made those decisions.
I often think about how kids today have so many challenges. Being a parent is tough. We have to take care of our family and friends. Last week, I saw on LinkedIn that many people are losing their jobs. Parents and grandparents are passing away. There are so many stories of people struggling to find jobs after long periods of searching. We all need to support each other during these times.
Let’s consider how we can support each other. It’s difficult to see people struggling to achieve their goals. While there’s no magic solution, I believe our perspective and attitude are crucial. The way we view things and the energy we carry often shape what we experience in our lives.
Here are a few tips that might be helpful:
- Make sure to clear your mind regularly.
- Surround yourself with friendly and supportive people.
- Keep a small circle of friends whom you can confide in.
- Most importantly, try to maintain a positive attitude as much as possible.
You might wonder how these tips will help pay your bills, and I understand they might not seem directly helpful. However, when you find a new job, remember to start saving money and prepare for the future. What I want to emphasize is the power of a positive mindset. By maintaining a positive outlook, you can change the direction of your energy and path in life, potentially leading to better opportunities. I like the sound of that, better opportunities!
Believe accessibility is everything!
