How many designs did you have in the last three months? Have you been working for a long time? As a designer, have you always had changes from your designs? You create a design and then get feedback from shareholders or even a customer. Sometimes it never ends, and sometimes the change is merit, and sometimes it is not.
I spoke to a fellow designer last week about how they were working on a presentation and asked for feedback. My questions are: how do you get your feedback from them? Do you get a PDF or an e-mail… well, what ever it is. So back to the designer and presentation. The presentation came back to them, and they continue to read the comments and changes. The words of the presentation designer.
“I love how sometimes I’m just referred to as “designer”. I opened the deck and flipped through the slides, one slide says “name” and “name” and “designer” working on the slide. 🤦♀️
No matter what, when you give someone feedback, they are more than just a designer. There is a person at the other end of the project. This goes not only for designers, but for developers and project managers. As being in the creative field, there will be changes and nothing to be final. The final thought is how you treat people through the process.
Believe accessibility is everything!
