The first time meeting someone can feel intimidating, but these calls will help introduce your potential employer to who they’re getting in contact for future meetings, so there won’t be any surprises when things go south later down the line.
You’ve had prep for this call, and you are waiting anxiously by the phone. Suddenly there’s a click on your earpiece — it’s time! You’re about to embark on an interview adventure that will change not only how well-paying jobs come into play, but also what types of people we can become as individuals: confident enough in ourselves with know our strengths from weaknesses through hard work or preparation; elegant when faced against pressure because nothing daunts us anymore creative — think outside the box if necessary…
The interview awaits, but I cannot allow myself any nerves before they even start asking questions, so let me just say thank goodness. Tell your nerves to go away. That is why practice is super important.
I had a career changer to whom I was talking. She had an intro call to a design agency, and she wasn’t sure what to ask, and we talk about it. It was definitely clear that her questions need more research about the process. So if you know someone who has been in the industry for a bit. Ask them if you can spend 20 minutes with them and guide through what you will say. We did that, and it was beneficial. She was able to reframe her questions.
Talking to another person will help prepare you for your interviews or future conversations. So remember that introduction call is important, and that can lead to other things. She finished her meeting with the design agency, and it was well. She had her questions ready and mentioned that it was easier to have a basic plan. So your next intro call, I promise it won’t be that bad. It’s all doable!
Believe accessibility is everything!
