We remember our youth and remember what we did in high school or back in college. I went a small road trip with my family and explained what I had done as a child. As the world had gone off in the left field and been at home for a long time. While things are attempting to keep going, I imagine it might take more time.
In my sophomore year at school, I went to the volleyball camp at UOP the (University of Pacific). That’s when John Dunning was the coach and led the camp. My passing was all wrong, and John said something to me that day, and I corrected it. The next day, I passed the volleyball properly, and he noticed. I smiled from cheek to cheek. I know this interaction was less than three minutes, but those three minutes were excited because I fixed something. During the UOP volleyball camp, my coach was Devin, I remember her so well. I understand why she had a successful coaching career at Nevada-Reno.
Devin showed us the right way to pass and serve, etc. She had so much patience in her group. I suppose she had one group of eight of us. We range from freshmen to sophomores. My experience at this volleyball camp was such a tremendous experience because I am writing about it now. Those are the childhood memories that you remember what you accomplished.
These are the life lessons from which we learn, and those are the memories that help us when things are tough or need that extra boost. So it’s okay to have those flashbacks from childhood to help you move forward in your current goals. Having goals is something that we all need and can work on.
So, what new goals are you working on? If you don’t have one at the moment, you can always start. Until then… chin up!
